Marten Lake during a cloudy day or a day with a light wind, fishing will be
better. A small chop on the water (from the wind kicking up the waves) is
usually best for walleye fishing in Marten River lakes. Try fishing at night on
Little Marten Lake to increase your odds of catching fish in clear water.
